Roger Sheldon born 12/13/1950 in Rosiclare, IL the 3rd son of Wayne and Margaret Sheldon of South Plainfield N.J. A member of the graduating class of 1969, with 2 years of Architectural school and several years of college and life long memory of attending Woodstock. He leaves behind his brothers, Ron & Janet Sheldon FL, Roy Sheldon FL, Randy and Janice Pringle TX, Randy & Wendy Sheldon CA. His beloved sister Mary Sheldon Zukaitis FL. Many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A Master Captain, and Deacon, Roger being a 30 year Member of The Moose Lodge, loved children and started a Fishing tournament for Kids in OK. that is still held in his name to date. He never met a stranger. Living from N.J. to California to Oklahoma and settling in Florida where he said he should have lived all his life. He felt at home and at peace and fell in love with the Gulf of Mexico. His great love of fishing led to a Charter Fishing and Dolphin tour business. Anyone boarding his boat left with his shared knowledge of Fish, Dolphins and the ways of the water.

Loving Motor Cycles he did the Iron Butt Ride from the Pacific to Atlantic stopping to visit Mom in N.J. on the way home. His quick wit and great gift of story telling, the Singing voice at Church, and Karaoke night, his loving kind generous nature will be missed by all who knew him. He Loved with all his heart His Savior Jesus Christ. He would pass out half inch tall statues of Jesus telling people, “everyone needs a little Jesus in their life”.

The Morning of his passing he told his sister he was going to see His Beautiful Jesus, he passed 4/5/2025 with his sister at his side .
